Enviroguard CCTV Drain Survey / Ground Remediation
Enviroguard were instructed on this project to survey surface water drains in a car park where movement was occurring.
A full cctv survey was carried out and dips in the surface water drains were identified where sinkage was occurring. Several trial holes were excavated to identify the reason for movement and it was found that the site was an old commercial building and cellars under the car park had been backfilled without been compacted correctly causing the movement.
Areas where the drains had sunk were excavated and ground stabilised, the drains were then re laid and backfilled and compacted with the installation of Geomesh.
